Doing this 8 week fitness challenge is all about setting out my intentions and making them line up to be my cheerleaders, keeping me going when that niggly voice suggests I could stop!
I wanted a physical motivation, something I could look at and touch! So I got my evening wedding dress out from storage. It is a size 16 UK size. It is still beautiful and I can remember I felt like a sparkly princess wearing it. I had worn a traditional wedding dress all day, but that evening for dinner, I went out in this dress… the next day we flew to the Maldives for our honeymoon. If there was ever a dress that said ‘happy’ this was it!
So it is now on a dressmakers dummy, in my bedroom, I walk past it every time I go in the room… just touching it makes me smile. So this is my first cheerleader!
